Stranger Things Fred Benson GIF - Stranger Things Fred Benson

Stranger Things season 4 is Chrissy Cunningham, a cheerleader who becomes Vecna's first victim. After investigating her death alongside Nancy Wheeler, Hawkins High newspaper reporter, Fred Benson, emerges as Vecna's second cursed victim. Thankfully, Max Mayfield narrowly escapes being the next one killed, but Vecna doesn't stop with her. The dark entity kills basketball player Patrick McKinney next, proving that there's no real pattern or trend in existence any longer. Hopefully, the Stranger Things death trend doesn't shift to "B" last names to account for Fred Benson. If that's the case, Robin Buckley, Murray Bauman, and the entire Byers family could also be in danger. That said, Stranger Things season 4 hasn't seen a major character death through the first volume, and it's unlikely all members of the core characters will make it out alive, whether it be a death at the hands of Vecna, the Russians, or "The Nina Project." The lack of a trend and no more major "B" characters makes it hard to predict who will meet their demise. Max has already escaped death this season, and it's uncertain if Nancy will also survive Vecna's curse. But, in all honesty, any character seems to be fair game to kill off at this point of the series, as predictability and trends have been traded for shock and surprises. More: Is Will Byers Gay? Stranger Things Sign in to your ScreenRant account Warning: contains SPOILERS for Stranger Things season 4. Stranger Things season 4 shows the bodies of Vecna's (Jamie Campbell Bower) teenage Hawkins victims in his Mindscape - but why exactly does he keep them? Vecna's first season 4 victim is Chrissy Cunningham (Grace Van Dien), who is targeted based on the trauma she carries due to her body-shaming mother. Likewise, Vecna's subsequent victims hold their own traumatic histories - school newspaper reporter Fred Benson (Logan Riley Bruner) was involved in a deadly car accident and fled from the scene, and basketball player Patrick McKinney (Myles Truitt) had an abusive father. Vecna also eventually targets Max (Sadie Sink) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) for their own traumatic pasts regarding the deaths of people important to them. Ultimately, it is revealed in Stranger Things season 4's finale that the reason why Vecna was killing Hawkins teenagers was to create a massive gate that merges the Right Side Up with the Upside Down - and he specifically needed four bodies to do so. Max first encounters Vecna's Mindscape in the Stranger Things episode "Dear Billy," where she finds psychological iterations of Chrissy and Fred's disfigured bodies entrapped by vines in trunk-like structures. The bodies found in Vecna's Mindscape are only his recent victims - Vecna's sister and mother, along with the Hawkins Lab massacre victims, aren't seen. This suggests that the bodies of Vecna's recent victims, even as figurative Mindscape creations, are needed for a deeper purpose. Understanding why Vecna keeps his victims further helps explain why he was killing them in the first place. After all, Stranger Things' Vecna waited seven years before he started killing again, and his recent Hawkins victims differentiate from his family and the Hawkins lab victims because they're completely unknown

Hopper And Mike Scene In a bunch of images shared by @Christo45951886 and @SThingsSpoilers on social media, the behind-the-scenes photos clearly showcase a moment between Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard, and Hopper, played by David Harbour as they sit together on a bench in Hawkins. Hopper seemed to be discussing something pretty upsetting with Mike Wheeler given the somber expression on his face as Hopper sat beside him in his sheriff's uniform. Another image shows Hopper on his own, walking across what looks to be a road in downtown Hawkins, and a solo photo this time of Mike wearing a striped black-and-maroon shirt. Going by the captions shared in the images, it seems as though Mike is upset as they pay their respects at a memorial for those lost in the final battle. In Stranger Things season four's ending, Vecna killed Chrissy Cunningham (Grace Van Dien), Patrick McKinney (Miles Truitt), and Fred Benson, and maybe the saddest out of them all, Eddie Munson's death was certainly a tough watch for fans. The images also give fans a proper look at how far Mike has come since viewers last saw him, where his once baby-faced appeal has now grown into a mature young man. The set photos offer a proper glimpse into the show's huge time gap since season four, which aired in July 2022. As fans brace themselves for a darker and possibly more brutal Stranger Things season five showdown in Hawkins, these images could show one of the few times that Hopper and Mike take some time to reflect and remember what's truly important amid horror and destruction. Stranger Things season five is on track to premiere in 2025. Related Stranger Things Fans Should Watch This 1990 Stephen King Miniseries Stranger Things fans must check out the 1990s Stephen

Hawkins, Indiana has been well-known for its missing kids and unexplained occurrences since 6 November 1983. But what is perhaps even stranger are the monstrous villains visiting the town from alternate dimensions and terrorising its residents. Grotesque, sinister and mighty, every monster in the Stranger Things universe is the stuff nightmares are made of.Netflix mega-hit Stranger Things follows four friends — Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) — who get caught in the middle of a string of mysterious events plaguing their hometown after they discover a lost girl, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). As the unlikely heroes rise to save the day, the challenges keep getting increasingly fatal, with deadlier monsters popping up every season. While audiences love the perfect blend of sci-fi, horror and coming-of-age drama the show has to offer, for the most devoted of fans, the beauty of the show lies in its celebration of nerd culture. It is replete with nods to Stephen King novels, Steven Spielberg movies and of course, legends of Dungeons & Dragons. The fantasy role-playing game, which was quite popular in the late ’70s and ’80s, helps the characters explain the supernatural events around them as terrifying monsters, similar to those from the game’s lore, keep coming to life. Talking about the inspiration that D&D provided for the monster designs, Matt Duffer, one-half of the director-duo Duffer Brothers, revealed to Tudum, “We come up with a monster that we want in whatever season we’re doing, and then we flip through the D&D Monster Manuals looking for, ‘What would [the kids] be referencing here?'” From Demogorgons to Vecna, the four seasons have portrayed nail-biting encounters with these formidable D&D-inspired foes and more. Before we delve into whether Stranger Things’ fifth and final season will add new monsters, the show’s highly impressive catalogue of nightmare-inducing creatures is worth revisiting. Every Stranger Things monster ranked and explained1. With a skeletal structure covered with squelchy vines and a skull-like face, Vecna’s nightmarish appearance doesn’t even match the horror he unleashes on his victims, mentally. Inspired by a being from the earliest days of D&D lore, Vecna is a humanoid monster who lives in the Upside Down and hunts Hawkins’ teenagers in a gruesome fashion by zeroing in on their insecurities and trauma. Before becoming Vecna, he was known as Henry Creel. After moving with his family to Hawkins, Henry discovered that he possessed telepathic powers and used them to
