Like if you give it 20ish seconds it will autoplay the video. YouTube (understandably) seems to try pushing its adds through though. It will probably remain an ungoing battle. Overall, it saves me from having to click the skip button, but it probably eats up more time with it having to load thru the ads. Not a huge issue though. Appreciate the devs for continuing to try and stay ahead!
